This content is clips, edits, and references centered on Moo Deng, the pygmy hippo, usually from zoo footage or reposted fan videos. Viewers see the baby hippo doing cute, chaotic, squishy things in a pool or enclosure, often paired with captions that name her, joke about her behavior, or connect her to other hippo/zoo content. Some creators also make toy or pet-series versions that mimic the same tiny-hippo vibe.
Examples
How to film it
Suggested, not observed- Make a 7-second fan edit of Moo Deng splashing, with zooms and a playful caption naming her behaviors.
- Film a side-by-side: Moo Deng footage on one side and a mini hippo toy or plush on the other, matching the same caption style.
- Record a zoo-style voiceover reacting to Moo Deng as if you’re narrating a celebrity moment, using the baby hippo as the punchline.
What we measured

- Counts are distinct accounts in our nightly sample, not platform totals.
Ideas to try
Suggested, not observed- The most open angle is a creator-made comparison or parody version that uses a toy, stuffed animal, or pet to recreate Moo Deng’s tiny chaotic energy.
